There’s no getting away from it – the coronavirus situation has impacted all our private and professional lives. The team at the Prague International Film Festival – Febiofest were forced to postpone this year’s edition, originally due to take place in March, until September. Thousands of printed programmes and press materials, lots of billboards, radio ads and many other costs vanished into thin air without possibility to get them back. Not to mention the months of work down the drain. The Febiofest team decided, however, to not give up on this year’s edition and to fight on. At the same time, they realised that the time had come to ask the public for help via a campaign on crowdfunding platform Hithit.
