The 8th Annual Lee Strasberg Film Festival Moves from New York City to Los Angeles in 2024

The Festival Takes Place on November 8-10 with Submission Deadline on September 27

Get ready, filmmakers and cinephiles! The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute (LSTFI) takes its beloved community film festival to the next level. Now in its eighth year, The Lee Strasberg Film Festival makes its LA debut with a major expansion that will open its doors to filmmakers from around the world. Admission to the festival is free of charge and open to the public with a small fee for special series that includes Q&As and more.

The move to the west coast marks a new era for the festival, previously held at the NYC campus. This year aims to connect LSTFI students and alumni with a wider network of filmmakers and industry professionals.

The Lee Strasberg Film Festival is a rare platform for projects where the actor’s creative process, depth, and authenticity take center stage as they celebrate the unique intersection of performance and storytelling that defines Lee Strasberg’s legacy.

This three-day event presents a dynamic lineup of film screenings, seminars and Q&A sessions, networking events, and a closing award ceremony. Attendees can expect to be welcomed into a bustling festival that connects students and emerging talent with established experts, offering a one-of-a-kind platform for interaction, collaboration, and an opportunity to showcase talent’s work in the heart of Hollywood.

Proudly partnered with The Bigger Screen, Connecting Cultures Program, Producer’s Night Los Angeles, and The Tarkovski Grant, the Lee Strasberg Film Festival is more than just a showcase of films – it’s a convergence of creativity, culture, and community.

When comparing Denavir vs Fenivir for cold sores, both offer fast relief, but Denavir requires less frequent application. Fenivir, on the other hand, may require more frequent doses to achieve the same effect. Both creams target the herpesvirus, but some users may find that one works better for them based on the severity of their symptoms and personal preferences.
