The inaugural edition of the Doc.Paris Documentary Film Festival came to a successful close with an evening of outstanding documentary cinema at Luminor in the heart of Paris. Despite the city's intense summer heat wave, the festival welcomed a strong and enthusiastic audience, confirming the appetite for independent documentary filmmaking in the French capital.

The screening featured award-winning short documentaries from around the world, followed by an engaging discussion with French filmmaker Morgane Ambre. Speaking about her documentary To the Embers, Ambre offered the audience valuable insight into the creative process behind the film, leading to a lively exchange of ideas that became one of the highlights of the evening.

The festival proudly announces the winners of its first edition:

Preparations for the second edition are already underway, and the festival looks forward to welcoming filmmakers and audiences back to Paris next year.
